We’ve been getting lots of new followers and interest in the business in recent weeks, so here’s a short overview of who we are and what we do.

Red Rose Packaging Ltd was established in 1985 by the founders John and Sue Walters. Since 2008, under the current name Newby Packaging Ltd trading as Red Rose Packaging, the business has gone from strength to strength run by the current directors. The business was acquired by Logson Group in April 2022.
The business has always supplied corrugated packaging solutions across the North West of England as well as further afield. With an industry portfolio which is plentiful, including customers ranging from  retail, to engineering to pharmaceutical and more!
Our can-do attitude, which has seen many of our customers retain their business with us for several years, is backed up by a diverse and capable machinery portfolio which allows us to offer two colour print solutions, die cutting, bespoke structural design including CAD capabilities, gluing, and stitching. This means that we can support our customers with everything from a standard cardboard box to a complex packaging solution or visually appealing merchandising solution including RRP, FSDU and SRP.

The team of 34 people is headed up by a trio of Directors, Sharon Garner, Katie Whitehead who is Sales Director and Ian Walters who is Production Director.  Sharon started working in the business in the late 80’s, Katie has been with the business for 20 years and Ian 29 years, and they are not alone in their longevity at Red Rose Packaging! Our factory manager Jim is perhaps the longest serving with 35 years’ service, and our warehouse Manager, John, has clocked up 28 years.  Most of our team have been here over 10 years making us a resilient bunch with great team spirit and capabilities! This is backed up by ISO9001 & 14001 and our FSC Accreditation, giving our customers even more confidence in the services and products we offer.
